Workshop Dates

Meeting Venue

hotelParticipants of the workshop will be staying at the Point hotel.
Point hotel is situated in Topçu Caddesi No.2 Taksim – Istanbul.

Check-out time is 12 noon.
Internet connection is free of charge.

We would like to remind you that you are a guest at the hotel on a bed & breakfast basis. All extras (telephone, bar etc.), additional nights (outside the agreed schedule) must be settled directly by you with the hotel before checking out.

The seminar will be held on 16 and 17 March at the Point hotel: Topçu Caddesi No.2 Taksim – Istanbul.

The opening ceremony will take place at the Giza hall on the -1st floor of the hotel. The ceremony will start at 9.30 am on Monday 16 March. We advise you to arrive at 9.00 am due to the time required for registration.

Free wireless internet connection is available inside the meeting venue.


Participants coming from outside of Istanbul can make a hotel reservation at the registration page. The costs will be covered by CAEP (except for the EU experts) for the 2 consecutive nights (from 15 to 17 of March).


Participants from outside Istanbul can order prepaid economy class air tickets for return flights to Istanbul at the registration page. The costs will be covered by CAEP.
The air ticket will be sent electronically to the registered participant no later than 5 days before departure. The participant is obliged to keep the boarding passes and to give them to the organizers during the workshop in Istanbul.

  • The boarding passes for the flight(s) to Istanbul have to be handed over to the project manager at the workshop.
  • The boarding passes for the return flight have to be sent to Ms Tina Herlitzius, GOPA Consultants, Hindenburgring 18, 61348 Bad Homburg, Germany or scanned and sent via email to the project manager:

In addition to the above, the local travel expenses can be invoiced and reimbursed against the original documents.

Pick-up from and to the airport:

mapTransfers between the airport and your hotel will be organized for you according to your flight schedule: this may imply some limited waiting time between arrival at the airport and transfer to the Point hotel.
At the airport, you will be welcomed in the arrival area by the hotel driver carrying the CAEP/ЦАПО logo:


The participants are responsible for taking the necessary steps to obtain, if required, a visa for entry to Turkey and /or a visa for the country/ countries of transit on the way to/ from Turkey.
Visa costs will be reimbursed against receipt.


The workshop organizer is pleased to offer you the following meals:

  • March 15: Dinner (Point hotel restaurant)
  • March 16: Lunch (Point hotel) & Dinner (restaurant Yakup-2)
  • March 17: Lunch (Point hotel)
  • Coffee breaks will also be provided during the workshop.
  • Breakfast is included in your hotel reservation (is served from 7 am to 9 pm).


The official language of the workshop is English.
Interpretation from English to Russian and from Russian to English will be provided during the workshop.
